Pour un homme, la connaissance du Psaume 119 lui a sauvé la vie ! George Wishart, évêque au XVIIe siècle, fut condamné à mort par pendaison. Conformément à la coutume de l’époque, il fut autorisé à choisir un psaume qui serait lu à haute voix avant son exécution.
